I’m a Georgia native currently studying history and theology at Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA.  In the most general terms: I’m interested in the way our personal ideas about God interact with political and social institutions.  Prior to Candler, I studied history and education at Lipscomb University and Georgia State University while teaching school for five years.

When I’m not panic texting my friends about college loans and shark attacks, I play alot of pick-up basketball.  I have a two year old Irish Terrier named Haystack that loves to chase birds.  And my heroes have always been cowboys, except for Rich Mullins, Manu Ginobili, and Diane Nash.
